Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Amade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coco Nutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nutz has chosen Afrika Bambaataa - Feel The Wibe as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Victor Amade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amade throws a head kick that misses.

Amade drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nutz wants to sweep but no luck.

Nutz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nutz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amade swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Amade is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nutz is controlling him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nutz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Amade finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Amade doesn't manage to clinch there - Nutz circles away.

Nutz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Amade can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
