Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lauri Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark van Bommel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van Bommel has chosen Metallica-Battery as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by van Bommel there.
van Bommel swings for the body but Puukko moves out of range.
Puukko throws a hook but van Bommel blocks it.
Puukko tries to bum rush van Bommel with a series of wild strikes but van Bommel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
van Bommel avoids the head kick by Puukko.
van Bommel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Puukko in his tracks.
Puukko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
van Bommel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Puukko's calf.

van Bommel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Puukko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Lauri Puukko has been cut.
van Bommel scores with a hook to the body. Puukko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A lazy left from van Bommel finds it's target.
van Bommel cracks Puukko with a right hand to the side of the head.
Puukko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and van Bommel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Puukko scrambles back to his feet.
Puukko avoids the head kick by van Bommel.
Puukko walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Puukko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

van Bommel lands with a hook. Puukko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Puukko is rocked!
van Bommel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Puukko's head backwards.
Oh Puukko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

van Bommel lands a really nice looking cross but Puukko seems unphased.
Puukko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Puukko seems to have got his legs back now.

van Bommel lands a big head kick that sends Puukko tumbling to the mat! van Bommel takes a step backwards and waves Puukko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Puukko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Puukko takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Puukko misses with a double jab.
van Bommel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Puukko looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
van Bommel catches Puukko with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Puukko forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
