Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zed Zelonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad Lowal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. KING KING KING kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zelonka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lowal finds it's way round the side to connect with Zelonka's head.
Zelonka shoots in for a double leg but Lowal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zelonka fails with a takedown attempt.
Zelonka takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lowal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zelonka circles away quickly and effectively.
Zelonka looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Zed Zelonka has been cut.
Zelonka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sloppy strikes from Zelonka. Those never looked like landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zelonka shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zed Zelonka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zelonka throws an overhand right that lands on Lowal's shoulder, as Lowal tries to avoid the shot.
Nice jab there from Lowal.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lowal.
Zelonka holds on to Lowal's head and controls the position momentarily.

Lowal is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zelonka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lowal working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lowal postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Lowal has hold of Zelonka's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Zelonka seems comfortable defending it but Lowal has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Zelonka is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Zelonka is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lowal couldn't care less - he's delighted!
