Tso comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting. Evans has chosen "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr. as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Freddy Evans!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Evans manages to avoid it.
Tso moves to clinch but Evans breaks away
and Evans counters with a stiff right hand.

and Evans counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Evans.
Tso is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Tso is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tso manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Tso's guard.
Tso wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position.
Evans stands and throws Tso's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tso is trying to buck Evans off.
Tso stops Evans from passing to mount.
Tso knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground.
Tso is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tso some visible discomfort.
Tso is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Evans asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Evans thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tso is working to avoid the ground and pound but Evans connects with a decent elbow.
Evans has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tso tries to escape but Evans is in control.

Evans is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tso knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tso is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Evans is controlling him well.
Evans landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Evans lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tso down.

Tso bucks up and tries to throw Evans off but instead Evans has got his back!

Evans has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tso has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Evans is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Evans has got one arm under Tso's chin. This could be trouble... Tso trying to control the other hand but Evans gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Tso has tapped out! The fight is over!
