The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tinsdell throws a low kick, looking for Souwer's leg but Souwer calmly moves out of range.
Souwer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tinsdell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Souwer's guard now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Tinsdell wants to pass the guard but Souwer is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tinsdell wants to control from the top but Souwer keeps moving.
Tinsdell passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tinsdell tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Souwer tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Tinsdell has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tinsdell wants to finish this one by submission but Souwer is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tinsdell.

Tinsdell looking for a guillotine from mount but Souwer is having none of it.
