Paasilinna is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Irwin Goodman - Vanha Juoppo. The key to victory for Jerson Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a two punch combo.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva tries to clinch but Paasilinna is having none of it.
Paasilinna shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Paasilinna passes into half guard.
Paasilinna trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away.
Paasilinna thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head.
Silva tries to kick Paasilinna off but Paasilinna keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Paasilinna wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well.
Paasilinna is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva won't allow Paasilinna to pass to mount.
Silva is trying to maintain the position but Paasilinna is very close to passing his half guard.
Paasilinna tries to pass the half guard into mount. Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paasilinna passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!
Paasilinna wants to finish this one by submission but Silva is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Paasilinna.
Paasilinna mounts Silva! Really nice guard pass there!
Paasilinna is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling Paasilinna's body position as best he can.
Silva really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Paasilinna wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paasilinna blocks Silva's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Silva in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Paasilinna jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Silva is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Silva and Paasilinna has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Paasilinna tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Paasilinna has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Paasilinna is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Paasilinna controlling the position from side mount.
Paasilinna is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silva looks calm but he's in trouble here. Paasilinna gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silva is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Paasilinna lets go of the hold and Silva can pop his arm back in it's socket.
