Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milan Diprivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milan Diprivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Levi Foster!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diprivan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diprivan lands with a nice body kick.
Foster throws a head kick that misses.
Diprivan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
No joy there for Diprivan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diprivan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Foster closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Diprivan quickly recovers to half guard.

Diprivan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Foster trying to pass the guard but Diprivan defending well.
Diprivan is trying to stand up here but Foster is controlling him well.

Foster drops an elbow to the side of Diprivan's head.
Diprivan is looking for a sweep. Foster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Foster stands up and beckons Diprivan to join him on the feet.
Foster uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diprivan.

Foster manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Diprivan on his heels. He'll look to pass Diprivan's guard now, I'm sure.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Foster gets to his feet - Diprivan follows without any prompting.
Diprivan avoids the head kick by Foster.
Diprivan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diprivan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Foster's head.

Foster closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Foster decides to stand up, so the ref orders Diprivan to his feet.
Diprivan missing with a left hand there. Foster was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Foster seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Foster in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Levi Foster.

Foster throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Foster takes the fight into the clinch.
Diprivan managing to block the knees to the body from Foster.

Foster turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Foster lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Diprivan down.
Foster advances nicely into full mount.

Foster looking for a guillotine from mount but Diprivan is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Diprivan slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Foster closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Foster's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Diprivan has Foster pressed against the cage, preventing Foster from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Diprivan has had enough of the clinch but Foster keeps him there for the moment.
Foster keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Diprivan's efforts to push away.
Diprivan is trying to maintain a safe position but Foster gets an underhook and turns Diprivan into the cage.
Foster lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Diprivan backwards.

Foster had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diprivan defends it easily.

Diprivan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Foster closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diprivan circles away.

Foster is trying to push Diprivan away but Diprivan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Foster jumps guard and drags Diprivan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Diprivan wants to get up but he can't break Foster's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Foster is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foster can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foster tries for a takedown but Diprivan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Foster shoots in for a double leg but Diprivan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Levi Foster wasn't active enough on the ground.

Foster has Diprivan pressed against the cage, preventing Diprivan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Foster gets control of Diprivan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Foster will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
