The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammil moves to clinch but Skorzewski breaks away
and Hammil takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hammil is looking to clinch.
Hammil gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hammil tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Skorzewski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Skorzewski throws out a loose jab but Hammil uses good head movement to avoid it.

Skorzewski pushes Hammil up against the cage in a clinch.

Hammil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skorzewski.

Hammil looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Skorzewski is fending him off so far but Hammil persists. Nope, Skorzewski circles away and we're back to standing.

Skorzewski gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hammil tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Skorzewski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Skorzewski avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hammil fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Skorzewski is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hammil is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hammil flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Skorzewski anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hammil and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Skorzewski slips an arm under Hammil chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Skorzewski has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Skorzewski is squeezing on Hammil like an anaconda would it's prey. Hammil fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
