Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrion Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coalman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lannister's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Downstait - Say it to my Face. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coalman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lannister is fending him off so far but Coalman persists. Nope, Lannister circles away and we're back to standing.
Coalman shoots for a double leg takedown but Lannister sprawls well. He's pushed Coalman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lannister keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tyrion Lannister has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Coalman.
Coalman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lannister swivels and escapes.

Lannister slaps away a takedown attempt from Coalman, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Coalman darts in and clinches Lannister up against the cage.

Coalman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lannister avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Coalman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lannister gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Coalman works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Coalman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Lannister wants to improve his position but instead Coalman has moved into half guard.

Lannister kicks off Coalman and gets to his feet.
Coalman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lannister paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lannister leaves Coalman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Coalman swings for the body but Lannister moves out of range.

Coalman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lannister defends it nicely.
Coalman looks gassed!
Lannister feints a jab promting Coalman to slip. Lannister then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Coalman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Coalman is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coalman shoots in for a double leg but Lannister sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mark Coalman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lannister circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lannister counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Coalman is still on wobbly legs! Can Lannister finish him?
Coalman has his takedown stuffed
and Lannister counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Coalman seems to have recovered his senses.
Lannister changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coalman tries to avoid it but Lannister manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coalman to the ground. Coalman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Coalman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lannister lands a left and a right that send Coalman crashing to the mat, dazed. Lannister thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lannister misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lannister fails to land with a series of punches.
Lannister scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Coalman drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lannister lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Coalman!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Coalman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Lannister wants to control the pace but Coalman is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Coalman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lannister swivels and escapes.
Coalman closes the distance and clinches up with Lannister, looking for a takedown. Coalman pushes Lannister against the cage but Lannister circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jab, jab by Lannister - just one landing.
Coalman with a poor takedown
and Lannister counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Coalman has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
