Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anupo Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandy Culture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Culture throws a body kick that misses.

Culture fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anubis sprawls well initially but Culture persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Culture is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Anubis has managed to free his arm - good work.

Culture is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Anubis is just riding it out for now. Culture eventually gives up the hold.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anubis closes the distance and clinches up with Culture, looking for a takedown. Anubis pushes Culture against the cage but Culture circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
