Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khalifa Khalifa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Lagove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalifa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Random Arab Music. Lagove has chosen What you say as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lagove tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Khalifa counters with a shoot takedown. Lagove fights it but they end up in guard.
Khalifa throws a big right hand that misses.

Lagove has his foot on Khalifa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Khalifa works his way back into a safe position though.

Lagove has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khalifa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lagove had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Khalifa defends it easily.
Khalifa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lagove swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lagove manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Khalifa manages to get himself to full guard.

Khalifa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lagove is controlling him.
Lagove throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khalifa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Khalifa wants to get back to his feet but Lagove is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Khalifa trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Lagove postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Khalifa pulls Lagove in close to his closed guard and prevents Lagove from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lagove bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khalifa's guard.
Khalifa has momentary wrist control but Lagove slips an elbow through the middle.

Khalifa wants to stand and escape but Lagove is having none of it.
Lagove throws and elbow that misses. Khalifa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lagove's guard. Nice move by Khalifa!

Lagove has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Khalifa doesn't defend quickly enough and Lagove has managed to lock this one up! Can Khalifa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lagove on a fantastic submission victory.
