The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lashley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Abdel Salam sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lashley somewhat.
Abdel Salam feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lashley sprawling to the canvas! Lashley rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Abdel Salam finish him?!
It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.
Abdel Salam wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lashley looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Abdel Salam lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lashley at a distance.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Abdel Salam engages and cracks Lashley with a massive lead left hook - Lashley tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Abdel Salam is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
