The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pyle tries to clinch but Karakus is having none of it.
Karakus misses with a takedown attempt - Pyle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Karakus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Karakus has a takedown stuffed.

Karakus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pyle manages to avoid it.
Karakus stuffs the takedown attempt from Pyle. Pyle gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Karakus wants to improve his position but Pyle is controlling well.

Pyle's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pyle lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Pyle.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pyle's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Karakus has hold of Pyle's hands but Pyle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Karakus is looking to control Pyle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Karakus avoid being mounted?

Pyle is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Karakus is surviving well by controlling Pyle's body position as best he can.
Karakus is squirming around, avoiding Pyle's attempts to control the action.
Pyle is breathing heavily.
Karakus slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Karakus slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Karakus wants to sweep here but Pyle controlling him for the moment.

Pyle is posturing up here but Karakus has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pyle tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pyle has to tap! Slick submission there by Karakus!
