Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fortune Cookie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Kennedy - Le Code de la Rue as his entrance music. Fortune Cookie had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cookie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.

Cookie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cookie scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Fortune Cookie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cookie throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Cookie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cookie dives on top into guard.

Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cookie's guard.

Cookie bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cookie throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Cookie, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Cookie against the cage but Cookie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cookie cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cookie's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cookie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
