Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Hardge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Takenoshit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kobe Hardge has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takenoshit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hardge on the side of the head.
Hardge takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hardge takes the fight into the clinch.

Hardge manages to pull guard.

Takenoshit thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hardge is pulling down on Takenoshit's head. It's preventing any offense from Takenoshit, at least for the moment.

Takenoshit drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hardge looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hardge looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hardge!

Takenoshit is looking to regain half guard here but Hardge keeps moving and retains side control.

Hardge is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Takenoshit will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Takenoshit is looking for a sweep.

Hardge prevents Takenoshit from escaping the position.
Takenoshit is trying to control Hardge's posture but Hardge avoids it.

Takenoshit parries the strikes from Hardge easily there. Hardge is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Takenoshit to escape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takenoshit is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hardge has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Takenoshit is trying to escape the position but Hardge is controlling the position.

Hardge decides to stand up, so the ref orders Takenoshit to his feet.
Hugo Takenoshit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Takenoshit throws a right and a left that Hardge avoids nicely.
Takenoshit wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hardge is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Takenoshit's half guard.

Takenoshit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hardge pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hardge is controlling the pace.

Hardge closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Takenoshit's guard.

Takenoshit drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hardge manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Takenoshit has Hardge in his guard.

Hardge gets to his feet. Takenoshit looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Takenoshit throws a combination that misses

and Hardge counters by moving into the clinch.

Takenoshit wants to break free but Hardge has control.

and Hardge counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hardge.

Takenoshit is looking for a triangle but Hardge pushes his legs off easily.

Takenoshit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hardge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Takenoshit has his feet on Hardge's thighs here. He's pushed Hardge off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hardge screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
