Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Pembelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Bede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pembelton comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary by Tupac. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pembelton isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bede stacks Pembelton on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bede!
You can see the frustration on Pembelton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Pembelton dives in and grabs Bede's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bede pushes down on Pembelton's head and hops out.
Pembelton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bede circles away quickly and effectively.

Pembelton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
