The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Alvarado.
Alvarado tried to score with a low kick but Owen checks it.
Alvarado stalks Owen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Owen's face. Owen staggers backwards, shaken.

Owen tries to move into range but Alvarado moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Owen throws a right hand that Alvarado ducks under and follows up with a left that Alvarado also avoids with ease.
Max Alvarado is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Owen fails in his attempt to clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Owen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
