Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Metamus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vaughn's choice of entrance music: Walking Tall. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn's corner calls for a 1-2. Vaughn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Metamus shoots in but no luck this time.
Luke Metamus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaughn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Metamus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Metamus shoots in looking for a takedown. Vaughn tries to sprawl out of it but Metamus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vaughn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Metamus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vaughn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Metamus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Metamus finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Vaughn's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Metamus falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
