Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wk has chosen I Want Your Face- Andrew WK as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wk takes a jab right on the kisser.
Owens's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wk under the eye.
Owens darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wk has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Owens is working away from the top position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
