Cartman has chosen Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman throws a low kick, looking for Belmont's leg but Belmont calmly moves out of range.
Belmont avoids the body shot from Cartman.
Crunch! Cartman slams his shin into Belmont's torso.
Cartman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cartman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cartman tries to work over Belmont's front leg with a kick but Belmont checks it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Belmont. Cartman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Belmont fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cartman manages to avoid it.
Cartman looks to land a combination but Belmont avoids it well.
Eric Cartman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartman checks a leg kick.
Cartman throws a shot to the body.
Cartman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Belmont sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Belmont throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Belmont tests Cartman's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Cartman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belmont's head backwards.

Cartman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Belmont prevents it.

Cartman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Belmont fights it off and pushes away nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cartman lands with an uppercut that bounces Belmont off the cage and back into rage.

Belmont slaps away a takedown attempt from Cartman, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Belmont is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Belmont pounces like a tiger and cracks Cartman with a vicious hook! Cartman is down but not out! Belmont follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
