The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mac lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bird shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bird dodges the punch combination from Mac.
Mac scores with a three punch combo!
Mac stalks Bird and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bird's face. Bird staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bird is rocked!
Mac feints with a jab and clips Bird right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bird is sent crashing into the canvas and Mac leaps in for the kill! Bird tries to get to his feet but Mac is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bird is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Little Mac!
