Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilia Kosarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell comes into the arena with Yardbirds - Heart Full of Soul blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Kosarev or perhaps it was just good defense by Mitchell which made him look bad.
Mitchell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kosarev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mitchell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kosarev moves away.
Mitchell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kosarev tries to clinch up but Mitchell circles away and keeps his distance.
Good leg kick by Mitchell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kosarev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mitchell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kosarev scrambles back to his feet.
Nice body kick there by Mitchell.
Kosarev wants to clinch up but Mitchell keeps it at a distance.
Mitchell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kosarev on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mitchell. Mitchell obviously looking to wear him down.
Mitchell misses with the combination.
Mitchell lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mitchell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kosarev's calf.
Harry Mitchell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kosarev scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kosarev looks gassed!
Mitchell is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kosarev throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Mitchell is trying to get back to full guard.
Kosarev has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mitchell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mitchell tries to get out of the position.
Kosarev looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kosarev is trying to work for a kimura but Mitchell is defending well.

Mitchell wants to get back to his feet.

Mitchell is staying active underneath Kosarev, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Mitchell is looking for a sweep. Kosarev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kosarev throwing shots but Mitchell is blocking nicely.
Kosarev seems to be working for a kimura but Mitchell defends the submission attempt.
Kosarev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mitchell's head.
Mitchell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kosarev on the ground.
Kosarev is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kosarev is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mitchell defends it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mitchell lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kosarev takes a step back to recover.
Mitchell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mitchell gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kosarev tries to clinch up.
Mitchell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kosarev.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mitchell.
Harry Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mitchell moves into the clinch.
Kosarev jumps guard but Mitchell stands there with Kosarev around his waist. Kosarev gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mitchell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mitchell lands a nice hook to Kosarev's body. Kosarev takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kosarev is breathing heavily.
Mitchell jabs Kosarev to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mitchell moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mitchell explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Mitchell throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mitchell darts in and clinches Kosarev up against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mitchell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kosarev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mitchell drops Kosarev with a beautiful combination! Kosarev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mitchell is looking for the KO!
It looks like Ilia Kosarev has been cut.
Kosarev on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mitchell. Mitchell obviously looking to wear him down.
Mitchell sends Kosarev crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mitchell is motioning to the referee to let Kosarev up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kosarev is rocked!
Kosarev drops his hands momentarily. Mitchell doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kosarev staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kosarev doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Harry Mitchell!
