Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alberik Gunther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Volkov's choice of entrance music: Stand By Me. Alberik Gunther has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov misses with a double jab.
Gunther fails with a takedown attempt.
Volkov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Volkov throws a lazy uppercut
and Gunther counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Volkov's guard now.
Gunther working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Gunther drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gunther jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gunther trying to control the position from guard on top but Volkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Volkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gunther. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Volkov wants to stand up but Gunther is controlling him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Gunther will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
