The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mjo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Partio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Mja Mjo has been cut.
Mjo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Partio to counter with a crisp jab.
Partio scores with a hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Partio bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mjo looks gassed!
Partio drops Mjo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mjo looks back up at him and smiles so Partio waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mjo is rocked!
Kauko Partio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OH! Mjo has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Partio smells blood and charges in for the finish! Partio unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Mjo sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
