Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gary Dove!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Barns!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dove's jab looks to have found its range, popping Barns under the eye.
Barns falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dove counters with a slapping leg kick.
Barns gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Barns fails with a takedown attempt.
Barns throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dove counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dove avoids the head kick by Barns.
Barns takes one to the chin there.

Dove shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dove looking to secure an arm triangle but Barns defends it well.

Dove goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Barns turns into him and now he's in Dove's guard.
Barns tries to free his leg and advance position but Dove is retaining full guard.

Dove had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Barns defends it easily.

Barns has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dove to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Barns is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dove pulls down on the head and he's put Barns to sleep! This one is all over!
