The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murray manages to avoid it.
Murray tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Murray shoots in but no luck this time.
Murray tries to clinch but Vladimar is having none of it.
Vladimar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Vladimar misses with a combination

and Murray counters by moving into the clinch.
Murray keeps control of Vladimar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Vladimar is trying to break free.
Murray tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vladimar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Vladimar wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Vladimar has had enough of the clinch but Murray keeps him there for the moment.

Murray jumps into guard, dragging Vladimar to the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Vladimar scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Murray doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vladimar throws and elbow that misses. Murray uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vladimar's guard. Nice move by Murray!
