Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Houses!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houses lands with a right hand.
Houses scoring well with a low kick there.

Houses closes the distance and clinches.

Houses's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Houses drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Houses working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Jackson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Houses working the head and body with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom here.

Houses stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Houses misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Houses closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jackson's guard.
Houses trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Houses passes into side control.

Houses has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Houses as he avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Houses is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jackson's half guard.
Houses passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Houses takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Houses is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Houses on the ground.
Houses scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Houses has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jackson's face.

Jackson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Houses lands a big elbow.
Houses fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Houses sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Houses shoots in but no luck this time.
Houses defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Houses swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Houses lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jackson will feel that in the morning.
Houses stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken.

Houses moves into range and clinches up with Jackson.

Houses breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Houses has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Houses fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Houses persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Houses looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Houses lands a nice short elbow.
Houses is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jackson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Houses scores with a couple of nice shots.

Houses is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jackson defends it well.
Still in half guard, Houses seems content to control.
Houses slips a nice elbow through Jackson's hands, connecting with Jackson's forehead.
Well, if Houses is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Houses has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Houses is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Houses's body position as best he can.

Houses has his arm under Jackson's chin here. Game over son! Houses squeezes tightly and Jackson is forced to tap out!
