The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews connects with a solid leg kick.
Matthews lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Matthews turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Matthews looking to score a takedown here. Long is defending well but Matthews drives through and ends up in Long's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Matthews wants to control from the top but Long keeps moving.
Matthews cracks Long with a solid left hand.
Matthews stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Long swivels though and keeps the full guard.
