The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tokugawa wants to clinch up but Combs keeps it at a distance.

Combs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tokugawa's guard.

Combs is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Combs works his way into full mount!
Combs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tokugawa looks a forlorn figure.

Combs is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tokugawa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Combs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tokugawa takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tokugawa has left one of his arms exposed and Combs doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Tokugawa screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
