Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turo Vatanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Human Sacrifice. Vatanen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Justice kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Turo Vatanen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Silva.
Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vatanen takes a step back to recover.
Vatanen looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silva moves out of range of the leg kick from Vatanen.
Both fighters circling a little - Silva finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
Silva looks to land a body kick but Vatanen moved away.
Vatanen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rich Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vatanen avoids a kick to the body.
Vatanen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vatanen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vatanen for as long as he can get away with.

Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vatanen defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Vatanen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!
