Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adelso Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocha has chosen The Beast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adelso Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uriah Rocha!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha throws a series of punches but Junior moves out of range.
Rocha forces Junior back against the cage and clinches.
Rocha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rocha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rocha throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rocha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rocha rushes Junior and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rocha wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Junior has him pressed against the cage.
Junior gets control of Rocha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Junior will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Rocha avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Junior working for submissions but it's allowed Rocha to get to half guard.
Rocha tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Junior actively working from the bottom here.
Rocha seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Rocha is keen to just control but Junior is a slippery customer.
Junior is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rocha's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rocha's back!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Junior is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Rocha is defending well though. Junior let's go of the attempt for now.

Junior is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rocha with him. Rocha is trying to defend but Junior has an arm under the chin now! Rocha grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Adelso Junior!
