The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paskiainen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Packard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Packard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Paskiainen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Packard is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Paskiainen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Packard's back instead.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Duff Packard.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Packard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
