Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huima Kostaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "The Hunter" by Persuader. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kostaja wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Gracie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kostaja stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kostaja will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kostaja counters by clinching up.
Kostaja blocks a body shot from Gracie.
Kostaja is trying to stall.
Gracie goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kostaja fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kostaja tries to throw a body punch but Gracie avoids it by throwing Kostaja back against the cage.
Kostaja tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gracie smiles and moves away.

Kostaja throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kostaja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Carlos Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huima Kostaja.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kostaja manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gracie darts in and clinches Kostaja up against the cage.
Kostaja tries a knee to the head but Gracie blocks it.

Kostaja swings wildly with an uppercut but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.

It looks like Huima Kostaja has been cut.
Kostaja tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gracie smiles and moves away.

Kostaja lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.

Gracie works Kostaja's body with a nice hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Huima Kostaja's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Kostaja tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gracie tries to work over Kostaja's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Gracie lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kostaja backwards.
Gracie tries to throw a body punch but Kostaja avoids it by throwing Gracie back against the cage.
Gracie pushes Kostaja back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
