The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romana rushes Kiuga and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Romana tries to stall but Kiuga uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kiuga is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kiuga is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kiuga is trying to break the clinch but Romana is controlling him.
Romana tries for a takedown. No joy.
Romana has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kiuga avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Romana keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kiuga's efforts to push away.

Kiuga breaks from the clinch.
Romana moves to clinch but Kiuga breaks away
and Romana takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like La Pesadilla Romana has been cut.

Kiuga shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Romana throws a series of punches but Kiuga avoids them all with ease.
Kiuga tries to land a leg kick but Romana saw it coming and moves away.
Kiuga throws a nice looking combination but Romana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Romana takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kiuga misses with a body shot.
Toa Kiuga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiuga fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kiuga lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Romana circles away quickly and effectively.
Kiuga just misses with a punch to the body.
Kiuga misses with the combination.
Romana checks the leg kick nicely there.
Romana with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kiuga to score with a decent uppercut.
Romana get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Romana stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Kiuga runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
