Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Rampage!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson dives in and scores a takedown into Rampage's guard.

Rampage has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson passes into half guard.

Jackson gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
No luck for Rampage with that takedown attempt.

Rampage closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rampage throws a big right hand that misses.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rampage on the ground.
Rampage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jackson trying to strike off his back.

Rampage has gone for a leg lock! Jackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rampage's guard.

Rampage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jackson wanted to stand there but Rampage had control of the position.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rampage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Rampage's legs - danger averted.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson won't allow Rampage to sweep him here.

Rampage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Rampage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jackson landing some decent shots from guard.
Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Rampage is retaining full guard.

Rampage working for a triangle but Jackson defends it easily.
Jackson trying to control but Rampage is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rampage has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jackson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rampage has tightened it up now! Jackson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
