The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards misses with a takedown attempt - Florian sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Both fighters circling a little - Florian finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Edwards looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horrible takedown by Edwards or perhaps it was just good defense by Florian which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Edwards. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Edwards shoots in for a double leg but Florian sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Florian pushes Edwards away with a front kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Edwards scores with a one two! Florian had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Edwards is looking to clinch.
Florian lands a high kick to the side of Edwards's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Florian dives into guard, looking to finish.
Edwards is rocked!
Florian gets to his feet. Edwards looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oh Edwards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
