Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rupert Crawford Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Pirate Everett!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Everett or perhaps it was just good defense by Crawford Jr which made him look bad.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Everett has eaten all the pies!
Nice sprawl there from Crawford Jr as Everett shoots in.
Crawford Jr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crawford Jr misses with a two punch combination.
Everett shoots in for a takedown but Crawford Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rupert Crawford Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pirate Everett.
Everett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crawford Jr falls off balance throwing a combination

and Everett holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Crawford Jr will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Everett up against the cage.

Crawford Jr turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Everett's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Everett tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Everett prevents Crawford Jr from moving into mount.
Crawford Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Everett on the ground.
Crawford Jr trying to control the action but Everett is working from the bottom.
Everett is looking to reverse the position.
Crawford Jr landing strikes.
Crawford Jr tries to move to mount but Everett blocks the move with his legs.
Everett tries to buck Crawford Jr off but Crawford Jr is having none of it.

Everett is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Crawford Jr's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Crawford Jr is trying to control. Everett wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Crawford Jr wants to pass to mount but Everett is defending the position.

Everett is trying to get back to full guard.
Everett looks gassed!
Crawford Jr slips a nice elbow through Everett's hands, connecting with Everett's forehead.
Crawford Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Crawford Jr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Crawford Jr throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Crawford Jr is trying to control the action in half guard but Everett is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Crawford Jr is pressing down on Everett's thigh, looking to free his foot. Everett is holding on for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Crawford Jr lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Crawford Jr thows a huge punch but Everett dodges it nicely.
Crawford Jr uses his free foot to push down on Everett's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Everett.

Crawford Jr has control of Everett's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Everett regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crawford Jr unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Everett wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Crawford Jr celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
