Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Georges Auclair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Kersey!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Auclair clinches up with Kersey and pushes him back against the cage.
Kersey tries for a takedown but Auclair manages to get underhooks.
Kersey stops a takedown attempt from Auclair.
Kersey trying to stall but Auclair improves his position.
Kersey is trying to break free.
Kersey is looking to break free of the clinch but Auclair has double underhooks.
Kersey can't get the takedown.
Auclair swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Auclair turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Auclair manages to end up in side control.
Auclair is looking to take a break and control but Kersey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Kersey gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Auclair can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kersey is looking to escape.
Kersey is desperately trying to improve his position but Auclair has a good base and remains in mount.

Kersey struggling a bit here.

Auclair tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Auclair has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kersey is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Auclair off and has taken his back!

Kersey is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Auclair wants to control from the top but Kersey keeps moving.
Kersey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Auclair works over Kersey with some ground and pound from guard.

Auclair trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Kersey throws his legs up looking for a submission but Auclair uses it to pass to side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Georges Auclair dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Kersey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Auclair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kersey's waist but Kersey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Auclair off to one side.
Auclair tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kersey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Auclair misses with a combination
and Kersey counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kersey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Auclair counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kersey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Auclair doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Auclair manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kersey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kersey is trying to control Auclair's posture but Auclair avoids it.

Auclair gets to mount! Kersey was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Auclair lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kersey is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kersey wants to hold on but Auclair pushes him away.

Auclair controlling the pace for now.
Kersey is trying desperately to improve position.
Auclair unloading with bombs!

Auclair connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Auclair throwing strikes here but Kersey is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Paul Kersey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kersey wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Auclair.

Auclair can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kersey is looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Auclair, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
