Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Ground!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vlad Trance!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Ground.
Trance tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ground swivels and escapes.
Ground misses with a lunging right hand
and Trance counters with a nice leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Trance as Ground shoots in.
Ground misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ground closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trance to the mat! Trance manages to get full guard.
Trance is pulling down on Ground's head. It's preventing any offense from Ground, at least for the moment.
Trance has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ground should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Trance has tightened it up now! Ground should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
