Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derric Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by bottinekes . Rose comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Rose. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stone shoots in and drives through. Rose sprawls well.
Stone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rose looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rose keeps working.
Stone working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rose can't do much from the bottom here.
Rose is not content to let Stone control the position.
Stone wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rose, who protects the arm well.
Rose tries to improve position but can't.
Stone is looking to take a break and control but Rose is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stone manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rose's guard. Nice work there by Stone.

Rose wants to stand and escape but Stone is having none of it.

Rose throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rose can do anything to dispel that myth.
Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Rose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rose swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rose is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone wants to control from the top but Rose keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone is really struggling to control Rose but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rose stuffs the takedown attempt from Stone. Stone gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Samuel Stone will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Stone gets caught napping as Rose dives in and scores a takedown. Stone manages to retain guard.

Rose is looking to work some ground and pound but Stone has wrist control.
Stone controls Rose momentarily but Rose frees himself.

Rose is working Stone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rose throws and elbow that misses. Stone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rose's guard. Nice move by Stone!

Rose is looking to stand up but Stone isn't so interested in that idea.

Rose lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Stone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rose feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stones jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rose is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Stone rather than just go for the knockout.

Rose tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Rose.
Samuel Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rose thows a body shot but no joy.
Stone shoots and misses
and Rose counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rose gets a takedown into half guard.
Rose is looking to advance position but Stone won't allow it.
Rose is just content to waste time from the top position. Stone takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Derric Rose has got the better of the ground game so far.
