Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Julian Reis enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Reis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nunes pinned against the cage. Nunes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice body punch from Nunes.
Nunes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nunes stuffs the takedown attempt from Reis. Reis gets slowly back to his feet.
Rogerio Nunes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Reis.
Nunes thuds a left hand into Reis's body.

Nunes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Reis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reis moves away from the strike by Nunes.
Reis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Reis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Reis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nunes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Reis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reis is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nunes has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Nunes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reis on the ground.

Reis quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Reis but it's paid off an Nunes is forced to tap! Nice work by Reis.
