Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Tresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hobbs is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dusk Dismantled. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Hobbs throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tresh blocks it with crossed arms.

Hobbs will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tresh up against the cage.

Tresh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hobbs fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tresh misses with a body kick.
Tresh lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tresh just misses with a punch to the body.
Tresh shoots in looking for a takedown but Hobbs manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tresh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hobbs takes a swing at Tresh's ribcage but misses.

Tresh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tresh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hobbs manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tresh has Hobbs in his guard.
Tresh wants to sweep here but Hobbs controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hobbs lands a left and a right that send Tresh crashing to the mat, dazed. Hobbs thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
