Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidell throws a series of punches but Shimazu avoids them all with ease.
Lidell looks to land a combination but Shimazu avoids it well.
Shimazu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Lidell closes the distance and pushes Shimazu back into the cage.
Shimazu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lidell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lidell is trying to break the clinch but Shimazu has him pressed against the cage.
Shimazu wants a takedown.
Shimazu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lidell pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Shimazu drops back looking for a leg! Lidell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lidell manages to kick Shimazu off! Shimazu jumps back into Lidell's guard.

Lidell keeping moving, preventing Shimazu from controlling successfully.
Shimazu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Shimazu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shimazu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lidell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shimazu on the ground.

Shimazu stands and throws Lidell's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Shimazu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Lidell is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Shimazu tries for a kimura but Lidell is defending well.
