PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rassberry Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Ak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergei Ak told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Ak finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Juice loads up on a big right hand but Ak slips the punch.
Ak shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice body kick from Ak.
Juice is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Juice swivels and escapes.
Ak with a jab.
Juice throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ak.

Ak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ak breaks from Juice's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Ak jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Juice manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Ak moves into full mount!
Ak tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Juice is in a horrible position here. Ak smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ak landing strikes from the mount.

Juice is rocked!
Juice is looking to improve his position but Ak isn't that keen on the idea.
Ak trying to control but Juice is having none of it.
Juice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ak on the ground.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Ak! Juice is out cold! This one is all over!
