Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Houses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Houses!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, That Guy!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houses throws a body kick that misses.
Guy closes the distance and clinches up with Houses, looking for a takedown. Guy pushes Houses against the cage but Houses circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Houses throws a head kick that misses.
Houses tries to land a front kick but Guy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Houses slaps away a takedown attempt from Guy, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Guy drives through with a takedown into Houses's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Houses is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Houses pushes Guy off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Guy swats away the attempt to clinch by Houses.
Houses really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Houses shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guy pinned against the cage. Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Guy gets tackled into the cage by Houses. Houses maintains the clinch.

Guy has Houses pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Houses manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Guy is working for takedown but Houses is calmly controlling the position for now.

Houses escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Houses dives in and grabs Guy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guy pushes down on Houses's head and hops out.
Houses misses with a wild body shot.
Houses tries to clinch but Guy is having none of it.
Jab, jab by Houses - just one landing.

Houses drives through with a takedown into Guy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guy has an active guard here but Houses has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Guy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Guy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Houses defends well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Houses postures up and lands a big shot to Guy's brow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Guy throws his legs up looking for a submission but Houses uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy is trying to control Houses's posture but Houses avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but That Guy will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Guy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Houses clinches up against the cage.

Houses breaks the clinch.
Houses tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Guy dives in and grabs Houses's left leg, looking for a takedown. Houses pushes down on Guy's head and hops out.

Guy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Houses tries to kick Guy off but Guy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Guy wants to take a breather but Houses is having none of it.

Houses is looking to control Guy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Houses avoid being mounted?

Houses manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Houses just misses with a punch to the body.
Houses lands a slapping body shot.
Guy fails to land the takedown.
Houses showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Guy.

Guy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Houses swivels and escapes.
Dave Houses has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of That Guy.
Guy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Houses shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Guy is trying to defend but Houses finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Houses throwing shots but Guy is blocking nicely.
Guy wants to control but Houses is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Houses doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Houses manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Houses will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Guy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Houses's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Houses utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Houses will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Guy lands a couple of digs.
Guy is looking to work some ground and pound but Houses has wrist control.
Houses bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guy's guard.

Guy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Houses!
Houses is just holding on here. Guy manages to take his back.

Houses manages to reverse the position and now he's in Guy's guard. Nice work there by Houses.

Guy wants to sweep here but Houses controlling him for the moment.
