Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spa Reine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Mirchoffski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spa Reine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oleg Mirchoffski!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mirchoffski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mirchoffski lands in his opponent's guard.
Reine looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Reine wants to get back to his feet but Mirchoffski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mirchoffski can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reine throws a right hand that Mirchoffski ducks under and follows up with a left that Mirchoffski also avoids with ease.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Reine throws a jab but it's blocked by Mirchoffski.

Mirchoffski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reine's face.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mirchoffski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mirchoffski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mirchoffski is trying to work for a kimura but Reine is defending well.
Still in half guard, Mirchoffski seems content to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mirchoffski wants to pass the guard but Reine is defending well.
Mirchoffski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reine's head.
Mirchoffski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Reine is squirming around, avoiding Mirchoffski's attempts to control the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reine is working to get back to half guard.
Mirchoffski lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
A nice elbow there by Mirchoffski.
BOOM! Mirchoffski connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mirchoffski lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Reine hang on?

Mirchoffski is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Mirchoffski sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Reine wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Mirchoffski.
Mirchoffski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Mirchoffski swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Reine is now in Mirchoffski's guard. A big mistake from Mirchoffski there, giving up the dominant position!
Mirchoffski tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mirchoffski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mirchoffski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reine!
Mirchoffski looking to finish Reine with some ground and pound. This is bad for Reine!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oleg Mirchoffski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Reine is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Reine takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Reine is desperately trying to improve his position but Mirchoffski has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mirchoffski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Reine tries to reverse the position but Mirchoffski maintains control.
Spa Reine has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mirchoffski wants to control the pace but Reine is squirming around nicely.
