Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mistigris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones is looking to clinch.
Mistigris uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Mistigris lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.
Jones misses with an uppercut
and Mistigris counters with a nice body shot.
Mistigris tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mistigris blocks a low kick nicely.
Mistigris ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Mistigris dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones tries to clinch
and Mistigris counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Mistigris pushes him off.
Jones tries to move into range but Mistigris moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jones tries for a takedown but Mistigris circles away easily
and Mistigris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mistigris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones throws a combination that misses
and Mistigris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mistigris ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones throws a low kick but Mistigris moves out of range easily.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mistigris's waist but Mistigris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Mistigris has double underhooks.
Mistigris lands a body punch in the clinch.
Jones misses with the head strike.
Mistigris keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away.

Mistigris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominic Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mistigris goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jack Mistigris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Mistigris does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mistigris lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.
Dominic Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones walks into a jab.

Jones is rocked!
BAM! Mistigris delivers a spinning backfist that drops Jones like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
