Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marius Darius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Rocko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Darius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Face the Pain. Rocko has chosen The show goes on as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rocko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rocko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Darius tries to clinch up but Rocko circles away and keeps his distance.
Rocko shoots in but no luck this time.

Darius tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rocko avoids it.

Darius manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rocko tries to stand and escape but Darius is controlling the position.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Rocko gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

and Darius counters by clinching up.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Darius tries to stall but Rocko uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Darius is trying to break the clinch but Rocko is controlling him.
Darius tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rocko is trying to trip Darius. He has hold of a leg but Darius is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rocko persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Darius shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rocko but Rocko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Darius.
Darius connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

David Rocko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rocko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rocko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Darius avoids it really well and circles away.

Darius shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rocko's guard.

Darius can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rocko controls the pace.

Darius is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
