Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yujiro Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergiou Figu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yujiro Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergiou Figu!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Hanma.
Hanma loads up on a big right hand but Figu slips the punch.

Hanma rushes Figu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Figu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hanma just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hanma gets through Figu's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hanma misses with some punches.
Figu is looking to break free of the clinch but Hanma has double underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hanma creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Sergiou Figu has been cut.
Hanma lands with a right to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Figu jumps guard but Hanma stands there with Figu around his waist. Figu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Figu is trying to drag Hanma to the mat but Hanma just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Yujiro Hanma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergiou Figu.
Figu goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hanma prevents it.
Hanma lands a hook that snaps the head of Figu backwards.

Hanma drops Figu with a big knee straight up the middle! Figu is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Figu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Hanma lands a big uppercut and Figu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Figu looks OK. Hanma waves Figu back to his feet!
Figu is still on wobbly legs! Can Hanma finish him?

Hanma tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Figu was well out of range. Poor timing from Hanma.
Figu seems to have recovered his senses.
Hanma scores with a jab to the body.
Hanma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hanma lands a nice looking body shot.
Hanma fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Figu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hanma catches Figu with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That has opened up Sergiou Figu's cut even more.

Hanma thows a body shot but no joy.
Figu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Hanma counters with a nice right hand that sends Figu toppling to the canvas! Figu scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hanma finish him?!

A looping hook to the body misses from Hanma. Figu does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hanma lands a big uppercut and Figu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Figu looks OK. Hanma waves Figu back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hanma throws a body punch but Figu moves out of range.

Horrible takedown by Figu or perhaps it was just good defense by Hanma which made him look bad.

Hanma lands a nice shot that snaps Figu's head back.

The cut above Sergiou Figu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A solid leg kick lands there for Hanma.
Hanma is looking to wear down Figu with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hanma lands a big head kick that sends Figu tumbling to the mat! Hanma takes a step backwards and waves Figu back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Hanma counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Hanma feints and then cracks Figu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Figu down.

Sergiou Figu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
