Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tomasz Krzynowek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rumple Chopkins!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chopkins fails with a takedown attempt.
Krzynowek fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Chopkins gets a clinch.

Chopkins breaks from the clinch.

Chopkins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Krzynowek to the mat! Krzynowek manages to get full guard.
Chopkins prevents Krzynowek from getting back to his feet.
Chopkins trying to control but Krzynowek is working from the bottom.

Krzynowek pushes Chopkins off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Chopkins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Krzynowek's head.

Krzynowek fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Krzynowek content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Chopkins has Krzynowek pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Krzynowek manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tomasz Krzynowek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rumple Chopkins.

Krzynowek is trying to push Chopkins away but Chopkins has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Chopkins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Krzynowek avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Chopkins has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Krzynowek regains guard immediately.

Krzynowek has his feet on Chopkins's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chopkins lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Chopkins looks gassed!

Chopkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krzynowek tries to avoid it but Chopkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krzynowek to the ground. Krzynowek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chopkins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Krzynowek avoids the head kick by Chopkins.
Chopkins throws a right hand that Krzynowek ducks under and follows up with a left that Krzynowek also avoids with ease.
Chopkins stuffs the takedown.
Krzynowek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chopkins circles away.
Krzynowek shoots in but Chopkins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Krzynowek shoots in but no luck this time.

Krzynowek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chopkins pinned against the cage. Chopkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chopkins throws a combination that misses

so Krzynowek counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Chopkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krzynowek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chopkins wants to sweep but no luck.
Chopkins looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Krzynowek puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krzynowek escapes and gets back to his feet.
Krzynowek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chopkins as he jumps to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Chopkins.

Chopkins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Chopkins wants to clinch up but Krzynowek keeps it at a distance.

Krzynowek shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chopkins's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chopkins can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chopkins controls Krzynowek momentarily but Krzynowek frees himself.
Chopkins wants to hit a switch here but Krzynowek passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Chopkins there!
Chopkins is working to get back to half guard.

Krzynowek content just to control the position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chopkins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Krzynowek controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tomasz Krzynowek wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Chopkins throws a sloppy head kick and Krzynowek moves out of range easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tomasz Krzynowek.
I think Krzynowek has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
